Mihal, Nina and Alex Tanjala
We (Knut and Ingrid) have had an eventful month in 2008. First, a handsome grandson born (Jonas Kjenslie) April 28-- The name will go on!!.......and then on May 16th we sold the airport with the business. We are excited about the new owners, Mihai, Nina and Alex Tanjala from Romania. (Alex, their daughter lives in the US). We found them to be a very open, warm and friendly family. They are very people orientated and we all feel we have a great working relationship. They want to keep the gliderport and glider operation, including (for sure) the Senior Soaring Championship to continue. We have agreed to administer the airport and business for 2 years. (so much for retirement!) So, actually, there is no real change. We have the same staff and we will continue to serve the soaring community as we have for the past 27 years. In fact, we hope, along with the new owners to improve the operation and with new Enthusiasm. Hope to see you at the Gliderport!
